Build: Tall and lanky, with long limbs and a toned abdomen. Adam is not very bulky, however he is very strong, and quite fit. Sadly, he still looks rather thin, drawing himself inward out of habit. He has many small habits like biting his nails, playing with his hair, and wiggling his fingers/toes.
Eyes: Dark baby-deer brown. Like the colour of honeyed tea, or black coffee with a dash of cream. They’re very sweet when he’s in a good mood, but they can sharpen to black daggers in a second. Adam’s eyes are usually wide and curious, making him appear dreamy, and very thoughtful.
Skin Colour: Olive, with many freckles and moles painting his body. Adam’s mother and father are Greek, although he was born in America, sadly without an accent, however he still has that sunkissed look as if he spent all of his days on the beach.
Hair: Unbelievably thick, curly, and dark hazelnut brown. Adam’s hair is beautifully styled, shorter on the sides, but long and kind of floppy around his crown and hairline. When he wakes up, it tends to look slightly goofy and rather messy, however after he has run his fingers though it a few times it looks gorgeous. Adam’s hair is a rich, dark, coffee brown, a similar shade to his eyes, only complimenting his features that much more.
General Appearance: Adam is very quirky, in the sense that he doesn’t really blend in to a crowd very easily. Usually, Adam’s facial expressions and body language are fairly easy to read, unless he is deliberately closing himself off. Adam tends to be that sort of unusual kind of handsome, as he is rather untidy, he holds himself in kind of an awkward shape, and he usually let’s his strangely charming sense of humor show on his face.
Adam has quite a long, angular nose, and thick, Greek eyebrows framing his face, his pronounced jawline making him appear slightly stubborn...although he hardly is. His lips are thick, and blend into his olive skin tone. High cheekbones rest below large, brown eyes that seem to stare into one’s soul.
Clothes: Adam’s roommate Paul helps him dress, suiting him perfectly and usually making him look well put together, even handsome, if one would call it that.
Identifiers: Adam is blind, and he walks with a long, white, retractable walking stick when he needs to. He doesn’t walk with it around his apartment, because he knows the place so well. Adam can also read brail, and has a cat named Gordon.
Personality: Adam is very kind, however he is very lonely and on the edge of depression. He puts on a mask of love and sugary sweetness...because he has to. He works with a program of other success stories in a rehabilitation center, talking to patients who have gone through other recent traumas and he helps them deal with it. Behind his mask, he is very much alone. He hasn’t been dealing with his disability very well lately, which is sending him into a spiral of doubt and questioning. He hasn’t cared about himself for a long time, leaving him in a kind of empty shell. Adam is very sensitive, and sweet, but recently he has turned slightly bitter and sharp.
Hobbies: Writing, animals, piano and literature.

Lightning lit up the sky like a Christmas tree, and the rain was coming down so hard it shook the house as if it were a stack of cards. It was the dead of night, and no matter how hard he tried, Adam couldn’t sleep though the storm. He sat up in bed, gazing out his window, just as a fork of lightning struck a tree in the front yard, sending a branch falling toward his window. The glass broke, sending shards into Adam’s eyes and damaging his corneas permanently. His eyes look no different, however he is completely blind in both, taking years of rehabilitation to learn how to live without his sight.
