The Last Airbender

If anyone has seen the show Avatar: The Last Airbender, I'm sure you know where this is going. But the nations aren't at war anymore. Everything seemed to be in order, peaceful. There is being a tournament held in Ba Sing Se, and any and all contestants are welcome to join. You can be an Earthbender, Waterbender, Firebender, or even just a warrior. The contestants live in the high living area through out the tournament. Two or three to each house. There are different sectors, so not everyone is fighting everyone. The winner gets a bag of gold for spending or whatever!

After the tournament... well you guys can decide on what to do. If your having a fight, it doesn't have to be with another role player. I believe that's it. If there are any questions, we can figure it out as a role play!

History/info: He was born around the time when the Avatar defeated the corrupt, Firelord Ozai. So all he's known is a time of peace. He doesn't talk much, mainly because he never had many friends growing up. He decided to take up sparring as a hobby and has gone up in ranks pretty quickly. When he heard of the tornament being held in Ba Sing Se, he jump on the opportunity to test his skills to the highest level.

History/info: Kyoko grew up in an average household, her Father owning a general store and her mother keeping the house hold on track.Kyoko had been the only bender in her family since her great grandfather, who was a commander in the Fire Nation when the air nation was still strong and the Avatar was still known before his disappearance(Before Aang became that iceberg in the series.) Her father had always given her a hard time about not being as strong as a bender as her great grandfather was, or about being nothing but a student instead of doing great things for the nation. So when the opportunity rose to join this competition, she took it without hesitation.

bic - "Welcome to the city of Ba Sing Se!" said a lady as I got off the train. She was dressed in a rob that was pale green, with dark green lining at the bottom, on the collar, and the wrists. She had black hair which was done in a bun. I adjust my bag over my shoulder, before smiling and giving a bow, showing my respect. "Thank you," I say before I leave the city station. As I walk out of the building, I noticed how big the city really was, and how proud the city was. It was beautiful. I walk down the stairs to see people bustling about, going to and from places. Most people were in groups and seemed to know where they were going.

"Beautiful city.... I'm bound to get lost," I sigh to myself. I turn my head to see a group of two girls, about my age, walking towards then past me. They were giggling about something, but I stop them. "Good morning ladies," I smile, bowing to them. "My name is Kuruk, and I'm from the Northern Water tribe." The girls "oh" is fake surprise, smiling at me. I chuckle nervously and throw and hand behind my head, scratching the back. "I was wondering if you could direct me towards the high end part of town. I'm looking for a tournament-"

"The Nations Tournament?" one of the girls asks. "Yes," I reply, surprised that they knew of the tournament. "You know of it?"

"Oh yes, it's big talk in the city. And there are a lot people who have signed up. It starts tomorrow. You in it?" I nod. "Well... Kuruk. My friend and I will be rooting for you. What your looking for is straight up ahead. You won't miss it," she smiles, bowing and begins to walk away. She stops close to me to speak. "My name is Li, by the way," she giggles as I blush, then walks away with her friend. I turn to watch them, hands at my side. "What a welcome to the city," I laugh to myself as I head off to sign in for the tournament.

Taiga sat quietly in the train, staring at the large city as it slowly grew closer. Her bare feet were pressed tightly against each other, nervously rubbing against each other, as her finger tapped impatiently against her knee. The closer the city was, the more impatient the tapping grew. Taiga had been sitting on a train for far too long.

The train slowed to a stop and the woman at the front welcomed them to the city of Ba Sing Se. Taiga quietly got up and shuffled off the train along with the other riders. She stepped off quickly and moved away from everyone, looking up in awe at the beautiful city. It stood tall and proud like nothing in the world could compare to its power.

Taiga began walking towards the middle of the city.

A deep rush of air filled my lungs as I continued down the street, easily evading the others, workers, buisnessmen, traders, by there footsteps, their heartbeats.

"Welcome to Ba Sing Se" Ha left my ears a few streets back as I manouvered the streets I had grown up on. The middle of the city, the higher class, the Nations tournament, that's where I was headed.
