The Butterfly

Oh fragile butterfly,
Are your wings healed?
You glide effortlessly through the air.

Dearest butterfly,
I reach out my finger,
will you not come back to me?

Precious butterfly,
I need your soothing powder,
I crave your delicate touch.

I call on you, butterfly,
You are just out of reach.
Do you wish not to ease my trouble?

Oh butterfly, my butterfly!
Why do you soar above me?
Come here, land, my heart it open.

My troubled butterfly,
my heart is your fear, isn't it?
you think your wings will tear again.

Oh wise butterfly,
I do not blame you,
for the barbed wire is thick and sharp.

But, butterfly, my butterfly,
I need you now more then ever.
Without your comfort I will go insane.

first off, i saw the title of this and i was like "weird, my friend posted a poem with that same title on fb a few days ago i think" and then i realized well, it's the same poem, ha.

but yea, i don't understand this one haha

haha wow. but yea, this is just one of those poems that only i would know what i was talking about unless i explained it. but ummm, the butterfly represents the trust for others...if that makes sense.
