Allow me to rephrase this. Welcome to New Vegas, where the only casinos in business are run by the White Glove Society, the Chairmen, or the Omertas. Where people are constantly dying from radiation poisoning and malnourishment. Where you buy your poker chips and prostitutes for bottle caps.
Welcome to New Vegas, the year 2281. The Mojave wastelands are in total suspense after the battle for Hoover Dam 4 years ago. The NCR is trying to hold the dam after the attack from Caesar’s Legion across the Colorado River. The Fiends have been pounding them from the west all the while, so things have not been easy.
That’s not all, however. Recently, a courier for the Mojave Express was shot in the head near the town of Goodsprings, his delivery, a Platinum poker chip, was stolen. That chip is needed by the mysterious Mr. House on the New Vegas Strip. He has offered a reward to anyone who can recover the chip from the man who took it.
There has also recently been a breakout from the NCR correctional facility, the felons calling themselves “Powder Gangers”. Some have been reported to be hiding in Vault 19, while others have taken over the towns of Primm and Nipton. There has also been reports of them harassing people from Goodsprings.
This is where you guys come in. Pick your side, Omertas, Legion, Chairmen, Great Khans, Vipers, Jackals, White Glove Society, Powder Gangers, NCR, Boomers, Follower of the Apocalypse, Brotherhood of Steel, or just a random bystander? Or will you be a lone wolf, raiding where you can, listening to the news around the Mojave, or perhaps just a mercenary for hire?
