Setting: So we dated a few months ago, and one night in December you decided to surprise me with roses. At this point I was not satisfied for whatever reason that was non-existent and I decided I was done. I left the roses right there to die. So now I'm wishing I could go back in time and fix what I had messed up because I realized that you were perfect for me. A couple of days I called you and asked you to meet me for coffee at the little Cafe in town. Yeah.

Watching snow fall on my front porch, I look near the swing-set we got a couple of months ago, and see the roses that were left a couple of months ago, that ended up wilted, tattered, and torn from the wind. Walking over slowly to them, I pick them up and bring them inside, putting them in the sink and looked at the grandfather clock we had in our living room.
10:00; it read, meaning I had 45 minutes before I should leave to get to the little Cafe in town. Walking past the roses one more time, I walk up to my room and sit on the bed, looking out the window.

I get out of my shower and go into my room. I open my closet and start picking out clothes. First I put on my boxers and a pair of black socks and a white under shirt, before going for the rest. Which ended up being:

As I kept looking out my window, I finnaly decided to go get changed so I wouldn't be late to get to the Cafe. Picking out this outfit;

I put on subtle makeup, and decide that I should just leave my hair they way it is, and I start desending the stairs to the front room. As I put on my shoes, and a scarf, I open the front door, feeling the cold breeze on my face and I clatter my teeth together, walking towards the Cafe.

Proceding to walk, I see the Cafe in the clearing, and start walking slower, noticing I am early. Looking at my cellphone, I see the time is exactly 11:00; exactly the time I wanted to be there. Walking in, I stop chattering my teeth together, and rub my hands together, looking everywhere. I see you sitting in the front by the window, and I slowly walk over and sit down.
"Hi" I say, looking at you intently.

Staring right into your eyes, I remember us doing the exact same thing before I broke up with you. Blushing as I see people staring at us because we were standing and staring into each others eyes, and I sit down slowly, putting my hands on the table infront of me."Umm, just a vanilla latte please"I say to the waiter/ bus boy, smiling softly and turning my attention back to you."Umm.. how have you been?"

I watch as the busboy/waiter takes Lacey's order, then I direct my eyes to her. I take a sip of my latte and nod as I put it down. "I've been alright." I say looking out the window, then back at her eyes. "How have you been?" I asked, not really wanting to know the answer.

Looking around the cafe, I look down and my hair falls down on my face, hiding it and a bit of my eyes.
" I don't know if sorry would be the right word, because I am much more than sorry for what I caused you, and doing that to you." I say, looking up slowly, my lips kinda twitching like they usually do when I am either sorry or sad.

Staring at Asher, I quickly duck my head down and look at the cup you are playing with.
"I guess that is better than nothing, right?" I say, smiling softly and looking up at you.
"So are we atleast okay?"I ask, looking at the waiter who came around to get my cup from the coffe drink that I had.
