Helidor Sol~ Realistic Wolf Pack

Terrian-Found in the Northwest corner of the forest is a rocky territory belonging to the Sun wolves, Heliodor Sol. A dense forest sits atop stony grounds, keeping those who call this place well hidden amongst sandstone crags and behind thick trunked pines. But to wolves whose paws are unaccustomed to such grounds, this place can be fraught with perils and danger. One has to be on the look out for loose rocks and steep cliffs, as they dot the area around here!

Exsisting Prey-Wolves quick enough to catch small prey will rarely have to wander down into the Caldera in search of food unless they find themselves on the search for big game. Birds are plentiful here, many of the trees being home to at least two nests at a time, and rabbits seem to enjoy the rocky terrain for their burrows. Various other small game such as voles, shrews, weasel and squirrel are readily available.

Sun Wolf Alpha's- Unlike most packs, the pair that rule over this land aren't a mated pair and in fact aren't even the opposite gender at all! Twin brothers, Coastal and Harvin serve as Alphas for Heliodor Sol and do so with almost eerie precision to one another, acting and thinking as one. Growing up amidst war, scandal and under a number of Alphas, the pair are well versed in fighting tactics and know how to lead their pack well. Wolves of the Sun can rest easy knowing they've aligned their loyalty with fair, kind Alphas that keep a watchful eye.

General Climate- During the Spring and Summer months Heliodor Sol can get a little toasty but it generally doesn't reach so high that its wolves need to take cover in the cool underground of their dens. During the Fall and Winter months however, it can become a little frigid. With a higher elevation than their neighboring pack, Heliodor Sol is subject to snowfall during the winter and the occasional freeze. But those who find their paws just a little too chilly for comfort can simply slip into deep dug dens or move down the slope of the territory into the Caldera where lower elevations offer higher temps!

_Rules_

These are the rules to role-play. These rules will inform you of all the requirements necessary to be able to role-play successfully within the Royals.
We do not accept role-play that is cheap, two-sentenced, misspelled, and have many punctuation problems other than that. We understand mistakes here and there but those who deliberately decide not to take the time to write a quality role-play, are simply too lazy for this pack.Fortunately for you, we will have trainers, specified to teach those not skilled in role-play to learn proper skills. Those who have the audacity to listen to their teachers will become skilled and admired by their peers for their skills.
Let us see if you will be able to understand our rules for rp.

Rule 1: You are not invincible.

In roleplay, people tend to believe they are unstoppable. They never want to lose and they want to be on top. Sorry, but that doesn't always work out in real wolf packs. This is a completely literate wolf role-play site that takes place in the wilderness. When fighting, or sparring, you may NOT dodge every single move your opponent throws at you.

Rule 2: You are not perfect.

You cannot be a wolf that is completely the most perfect wolf in the entire world. Wolves have scents, scars, cringes in their fur, tears in their ears, etc. Even when a wolf is not damaged from battles/spars/attacks/etc. you won't be the perfect wolf. Don't pretend you are top dog, because if so, you're sadly mistaken.

Rule 3: No healing without a Healer.

During a fight/ spar/ etc. you will NOT be able to randomly heal throughout the battle. Again, this is a realistic wolf role-play. We do not use fantasy powers such as instant heal or even gradual heal. The Healer of the pack must be the one to heal you AFTER the battle is over. IF, you survive.

Rule 4: You are not the apex predator.

You are not allowed to instant kill or KO someone instantly within a fight. Just plain and simple. Fights and battles can go on for hours on end if you like, but severe damages will not be unnoticed. Usually, a Grand Alpha will be watching you when sparring or fighting. You do not want to disappoint the Royals especially when pretending you are the apex predator. NO INSTANT KILLS.

Rule 5: We do Semi-para/Para RP here.

Semi-para/Para RP is short for Semi-paragraph/paragraph role-play. This means, no two-sentence role-plays are allowed. We want depth and detail in your role-play and speed role-play IS NOT ALLOWED.


Rule 6: Grow up.

This is a mature wolf pack. Sometimes, bad things happen and relationships fall between members. We do not want to see you moping around and giving your ridiculous sob stories, trying to make everyone feel bad for you and guilty for you. Grow up. Be mature. Or you're out. Simple as that. Also, one month in The Royal Gardens equals two months in the real world. Meaning, six months on this site means you are one year. You cannot live forever.

Rule 7: No Humans.

Even though humans exist in this time, Heliodor sol wolves do not come into contact with the two-legged creatures. There is a park named The Helidor Gardens. The park is protected and humans do not enter.

Rule 8: Two wolf only.

You are only allowed to be TWO wolf. NO playing as your mate. NO playing as your own pups, and NO playing as any other wolf. It is taboo to pretend to be something your not and be a fake in Heliodor Sol and if you are caught, you will be banned from the site. No warnings. No trials.

Rule 9: Be realistic.

You cannot use unrealistic moves, you must be a rational size, appearance, and endurance. You may not be invincible, you may not be taller than 4 ft at the shoulders, you may not be rainbow colored, and you may NOT use fantasy moves such as fire balls, lasers, twelve inch claws or fangs, etc.

_Territory_

Aucaman Cliffs

Aucaman Cliffs lie east to the bordering forest. They connect to the Aylen Ridge making the cliffs appear to be one massive mountain. The cliffs are ideal for surveying the surrounding landscape and also to watch the rising sun. But be cautious, for the lands belonging to the Avia pack are only meters away. And they may not be too welcoming to uninvited guests...

Kantu Field

very base of the Aucaman Cliffs lies the Kantu Field: another prime hunting land within the forest. The land is flat with several deciduous trees providing great coverage for any predator. Deer, Elk and Moose tend to graze within the Kantu Field.

Honeyoak Den

Spoiler:

at the very base of the cliffs, and surrounded by multiple oak trees is the Honeyoak Den. The den is a creation from mother earth, worn and torn away from the elements. It is another cave den, yet not very deep. It serves its purpose of providing shelter, but because it's not very deep, it can sometimes do a mediocre job sheltering one from the rain and wind. It is a desired den by many, as the Kantu Field spreads right below the den.

Sarawati Forest

Saraswati Forest lies just south of the Kantu Field. It is a large, deciduous forest, providing food and shelter for any wandering body. The trees are tall and plentiful, providing quality shade against the sun. But because there are so many of the same types of trees, one should make a mental note not to get lost. It wouldn't be too fun to wind up at the mercy of another animal's teeth...

The Citlali Stream

Citlali Stream can be found at the center of the Saraswati Forest. It is a mass bed of rocks and boulders but somehow a steady stream manages through it all. The river bed is shallow and can be easily waded through. Crawfish and fresh water fish make their home within the stream. They can be easily spotted through the clear, steady water.

The Stone Valley

Stone Valley is exactly what it sounds like: a valley of stone. It is set up on the very western part of the forest lands, bordering with the outskirts. Not much thrives within the Stone Valley. Wildlife is few, and protection from the elements is none. This is the crossing lands, though, from the wildlife to human civilization.

Coastal- Coastal is a quiet happy male, but can be a little stubborn sometimes. He can always aim of challenging the ones who think they can do everything right, but of course, everything is a good game to him at the end. If you can drive away his hate towards you, he can be loyal and friendly, just to make everything right; just to have a good friend in mind. The male would like to be alone sometimes, just for things to rub off his mind, but he c an be aggressive, as in those thoughts, he'll be thinking of his past; even though he might attack for those who annoy him or bring up things he hate. Coastal can also accept an order you give him, he'll do it right away, therefore, Coastal is a wolf you can trust and count on.

Harven- Harven a wolf from rather modest roots, having been born into an average sized litter by a she wolf of no particular high standing in the pack (though she were no omega). His father was present during the early stages of the whelps lives, so there are no parental issues for this steely furred wolf. Their pack, peaceful with the neighboring few, grew healthily and as Harvens litter turned a year and the new season came around, it became apparent that some would need to branch out. With more mouths to feed than would be easily managed come the winter season, Harven was one out of the pawfull of youthful faces that offered to branch out. And it was then, at a year and a half, Harven ventured from his home forest with a skip in his step and adventure on the mind. He moved from forest to forest, careful never to tred over any borders lest he face the defending fangs of their wolves, but never really settled. The life of a rogue was too exciting, too new, too much for the young male to simply hand over. Only now, after a season and a half of wandering, Harven has felt that his blackened paw-pads belonged in one forest. Searching for a home, it was here that he stumbled upon a forest that he thought just might be worth sticking around for. A humble wolf, Harven is on the larger side of average but isn't known for throwing his weight around. He knows how to mind his manners around wolves of higher rank, and does a pretty good job at speaking only when spoken to around them. He is fiercely loyal to the hierarchy that is set by his Alphas and will readily defend the pack though he isn't one to flash his fangs unnecessarily.

History~[must tell] Coastal was a little runt, an ugly duckling standing out from the others. However, that didn’t make him different; his appearance seemed to be ‘unique’ to his mother. At two years of age, he started to fill out his coat, his appearance changing as he grew older. One evening, his brothers, sisters, and his mother went out for a walk. A nice walk in the green forest; which stood out as it was very healthy, meaning very green; different shades. Coastal was behind, panting and trying to make his way through with his mother, “Wait!” Coastal called out; he was terribly afraid to be left behind, and of course, when it was hunting season. His mother perked her white ears, looking back at Coastal; “Stay put here, little ones.” The mother told her puppies, walking over to Coastal, bending her neck to grab Coastal by the extra fat from his neck. Just about then, a net attacking and pinning her mother to the ground, “Mommy!” A shriek ca me from the little runt, running as fast as he can to the other direction, hiding behind a big oak tree; peeking to see what would happen next. Some of the others hid away; a few of them being too frightened to move a muscle. That day forward, Coastal learned to live alone, how to hunt from what he sees. All Coastal hears ‘You’re my little one’ in an echo, from his mother’s voice; his brothers and sisters never to be seen again.

History~Kiaki doesn't remember most of her family. She isn't too sure what happened. Perhaps they were killed, or they simply abandoned her. She does, however, remember her older brother, Saxon, but they became separated when she was still a pup. She is alone and wandering, hoping to find some sort of pack, but she has grown with her independence the last few years. She feels as though she might not actually belong anywhere. But she keeps looking and keeps wishing. Her scars, mentally and physically have become a part of her, and although she is dark and alone, she has managed to keep her soft side.
