Speak the Truth

There may be a lot to risk
But the biggest risk of all
Is not telling her soon
May the feeling be big or small

Stand high and proud and mighty
Don't quiver at her shoes
Speak the truth and speak it now
What have you got to loose?

You may have great times together
Many, many smiles
Or maybe great adventures
Love comes in many styles

Hold her tight in comfort
Hold her in the rain
Hold her in the sunshine
To take away her pain

Smile lots around her
Even when your sad
'Cause when you see her smiling
Then it's not so bad

Bring her little gifts
Hand made or from a store
She will do the same for you
Then the smiles stretch even more

Take her to watch the sunset
To see the many designs
These are ways to tell her
These many little signs

I hope you learned something
Something from my heart
True love can after all
Be a true work of art

Please do not ignore it
Or push it aside with shame
For isn't it true that you start smiling
When you hear her name?

So seize your next oppertunity
We all know that she will wait
I know 'cause I can wait 1 thousand years
After all it is fate

We are always together
In my dreams and in my soul
So tell her now, and tell her proud
Love is not one we control
