Wings of Enturnity

So I made this poem a while ago... If anyone has any comments on how it can be made better they are WELCOME!


Wings of Enturnity
Fly me to heaven
Ripped form my back
thrown on the ground and stepped on
By no one but me
did make my wings fall
Choose ground over sky
that's all

People did push me
did shove and prevoke me
But nobody but I,
may rip wings
my very own wings
from my back taking away the sky

Choose ground over sky

Though I knew I wished otherwise

The wings made me separate
they had to go
I chose ground over sky

Now that I can no longer choose sky
I look up and ask myself why
Why did I choose to be normal
when I could be one in the sky

The sky is full of laughter and light
while the ground is cast in their shadow
Ground may be better for some other guys
but I do belong sailing up there
I belong in the sky

And now I take the wings I have stepped on
and try to put them back on
But nothing can change this choice I have made
Because I chose ground over sky
