ooc - sorry its long. Just like making my opening posts a bit longer.
"Brava! Magnificent! Brilliant! Encore! Encore! Encore!" the sounds of cheering rang through the large audience. There was a round of cheering and applause before people started to stand and shuffle out. Five minutes after the show, and people were already talking about it. Tidbits of the recent event could be heard everywhere. "Direction? Absolutely fabulous!...."
"It was well done indeed!"
"I loved it Danny!" a voice rang. Danny turned to look down at his girlfriend of two years, and smiled. "I'm glad you enjoyed yourself," he said, blushing at her. "Oh it was amazing! I didn't think you were interested in his kind of stuff," Ashley, his girlfriend's name, added and she cuffed her left arm around his right. They shuffled out of the audience like the rest, passing people, and letting people pass. He paused before speaking. "So long as you enjoyed it!" It was a corny moment, but that was the kind of thing that Ashley liked about Danny. "Come on, lets go back-" Ashley began before she was cut off. A look of surprised sprang on her face before she pulled out her phone. They stopped, and Danny waited for her to read the text.
"Are you okay?" Danny asked concerned. "No!" she said quickly. "Well... yes... I mean.... I'm fine. But my dad.... he's... they think he's okay, but...."
"Ashley, calm down. What happened?" Danny asked nervous. "I'm-... Not sure," she muttered and dialed some numbers on her phone. Feverishly, she swung the phone to her face, and she began talking quickly.
"Hi! Mum?.... Is he-.... are you.... no... I mean he's here but.... I don't think.... I know they don't get along but.... it would be nice........... in a minute.... really? Okay?" It wasn't much, but the conversation ended quickly. "Is.. everything... alright?" Danny asked, walking behind and holding Ashley. "Yea, I think," she sighed, placing a hand on her head. "My dad got hit by a car though," she answered before Danny posed the question. "Mum's going to be here soon," she added quickly. Again, her phone buzzed. A text. "Scratch that. She's already here."
"Do you want me to come with you?" he asked, following behind Ashley has she left to the exit. "No, it's okay. It's better if I go now. I'll.... speak to you tomorrow," she added quickly, give him a kiss before rushing out the exit.
Danny stood there for a second alone, before stuffing his hands in his pocket. Surprised to find something in his pocket (other than his wallet and phone) he pulled out a thin, flimsy object. The ticket. He laughed at it and was about to toss it when he noticed writing. Not the black print of the ticket, but something hand written. He read it closely. "Back stage?" he muttered. He stood to think before walking towards the stage. "Maybe I could surprise her with an autograph or something...." Danny muttered to himself as he made his way backstage.
