First RP to be finished on Anonymatrix....hopefully....

Ok, I said I was going to post this, and I will. I expect people to join, as many people expressed an interest.

Alright. I will keep this simple. It is the year 5052AD, and mankind has long since extended its reach to the stars and outside its solar system. It has encountered many new sentient races, some hostile, some friendly and some who are just trying to get by. The governments of mankind have banded together under one banner, the "true" UNEM; United Nations of Earth and Mankind. It sits on the grand galactic council alongside representatives from every other race in the galaxy, and ostensibly have Human-kinds best interests at heart. However, politics corrupt everything, and every member in the council has their own agenda, even within the parties. The miniature councils that run the solar systems are just as corrupt, allowing bandits and slavers to operate in many of the outlying systems where the UEP- the Universal Enforcers Patrol- have a very weak presence. Whether this is due to lethargy or corruption on the councillors part depends on the system. There are many different groups outside the councils, be they mercenary groups, terrorist groups, bandits or just wealthy, independent businessmen.

Of course, what do we care about this? You are all simple creatures- humans and aliens alike- who live a simple life, living in a colony on the planet Liberty, located in the Terminus System in the far reaches of the galaxy. News from the rest of the galaxy doesn't reach you, and your biggest worries include the occasional bandit raid or whether next years harvest goes rotten. Humans and aliens alike live together, side by side, reacting to each other based solely on personal virtues rather than racial stereotypes. You are all stuck here, after all, and you grew up here; most of your families have lived here since the colony was founded, or close to it. Liberty is an earth-like planet, albeit with different wildlife and a slightly higher climate, and completely isolated, more or less.
That is, until a ship from an unknown organisation- it could be military, it could be something else- drops out of hyperspace above the planet, and sends down six soldiers of mixed race in a dropship that lands just outside of the colony limits, near the outlying farms. They have heard rumours of a massive attack being planned by an unknown force, and they have been sent to find out why and to hopefully stop it. What in Gods name is about to happen to the peaceful planet of Liberty?

Ok, now most of you will be farmers or shopkeepers or working in personal security...generally an ordinary person leading an ordinary life. Myself and someone else will be playing the military personnel in charge of the other four who were sent down, and sorry guys, but that role has been reserved. This is simply to keep the story moving.
You can be human or alien, and I will not give you a list of aliens. It will be up to you to invent them yourselves...just PM me with your ideas and I will review them to see if they are viable to include. Alright?

Name: Murdoch Guinne

Appearance: Murdoch stands around 6'5, and is rather well toned, if not physically large. He has short black hair that is too short for styling, so he allows it to just be a small mop on his head, and he has bright blue eyes that seem to take in every detail at once. He wears a suit of scout armour that is both energy, ballistic and flame resistant, but is still thin and flexible enough to allow him to perform feats of enough agility that it keeps him two steps ahead of heavier armoured opponents. The armour can shift through any number of camouflages to suit his surroundings, and has three weapons slots dotted around it. The normal colour is a pitch black. The armour looks more like a small suit of battle armour than scouts gear, but is deceptively light.
His helmet is a full-head helmet that, when worn, allows him a full field of view from behind his weapon-resistant visor, which also displays a full HUD with suit status, biological readings, night vision, thermal vision, zoom functions, cameras for recording and a comms system. He also has a pair of torches set on the top of his helmet, just in case.

Weapons: As well as a variety of grenades and a few small explosive packs for selective sabotage, he carries a machine-pistol- humans still use ballistics, but they are ballistics that are generated from energy that is created inside the weapon; however, small clips are required to stop the weapon from overheating, which need to be ejected afterwards. These are what are contained in the ammo packs that humans carry around- and a one-handed sword with a chainsaw set into the blade (yes, I know, but can you think of a cooler weapon than a chainsaw-sword? No? I thought not). He also carries, on his back, a relatively small sniper rifle.

Body: When in crystal form, Danny's body turns a black rock with deep green crystals over his body. His torso, legs, feet, and around his head is the black rock. His arms, hands, and face become the crystals. Because of his dense figure his defense is incredible (though he isn't invincible). His body maintains its same figure and shape. However, because he is made of such heavy material, his speed drops when in crystal form.
Danny can change between a human and crystal at anytime.

Weapons: Crystcillian's aren't known for carrying weapons around since they are able to shoot crystal shards from their hands (though they cause decent damage, since they are smaller, they can be broken). However, Danny still carried around a long knife (like a machete) around with him (both for work and protection).

Other: He wears a blue crystal on a leather necklace. The crystal came from his mother. Both his parents are still alive though he does not live with them.

Job: Soldier, 2nd in command of Scout group sent to Liberty

Appearance: Jordan stands at 6'1. Due to his long track record in the military, he is quite phisically fit. His hair is short, as is customary in the army, and he has green eyes. His Armour is quite a bit more bulky than regular scout armor, granting him more protection, though it is still light enough to still move around with impressive agility. He wears a full-head helmet, not only protecting his head, but it also grants him infa red and night vision, as well as a motion tracker. because of his more protective armor, Jordan is considered as the "shock troop" of his unit, because with his Armor he is able to withstand considerably more firepower than his scout comrades

Weapons: Jordan's suit is loaded with a large multitude of weapons. Attached to his left wrist is a small, automatic machine gun. On his right wrist is a retractable sword, for up close and personal encounters. Mounted on his back is a quite powerfull plasma gun. Since humans mostly rely on ballistics, this plasma gun may seem primitive to other species, though it is usefull for taking out vehicles. The only drawback is that everytine he fires the plasma gun, there is a two hour recharge time. Ontop of this weapon arsenal, he also carries a wide variety of grenades.

About: While Jordan is a skilled marksman, his true talent lies in hand to hand combat. Even unarmed he can take out several opponents at once, but with a weapon he truly becomes an unstoppable force to witch dozens of enemies fall. He is the #1 ranked hand to hand specialist on the ES freedom

Roles: 2nd in command of the scouts of the ES freedom.

Considering that you're a scout, Eljordo, I think you have way too many guns. Remember, scouts travel quickly and lightly. You might have a close weapon, a small weapon and a heavy weapon, but nowhere near the amount you have there. it's also that having that many weapons may overpower your character quite a bit, unless you are planning on losing them early on?

Well I don't really see him as overpowered. He has a light machine gun and a sword (no biggy) and as for the plasma gun, it has a TWO HOUR recharge time between shots. Think about it, i miss I can't use it for two hours. I think that's an appropriate drawback. And considering that the gun and sword are wrist mounted, it won't really restrict my movement

As for the armor, I didn't really explain it clearly enough. It's not full blown heavy armor, he's just has a bit extra armor because he specializes in close quarters. He needs an armor that can take a hit if he's gonna get up close and personal ;P

Don't worry Mur, if I get hit I will definatley feel it remember I'm close combat oriented, my armor is more to stop minor knife blows, blunt objects and tazer type objects.
