You lay there in that bed and fight
And I am nowhere in sight
I stay here and work
And feel like such a jerk
Instead of getting on the next plane
I stay here and battle in pain
Not like yours
Mine’s in the heart and soul without a cause
I know someday we will finally meet
After this challenge you’ve finally beat
You’re a real battler no doubt about it
You cheer me up when I feel like shit
Right now all I feel is sorrow
But the future will be bright tomorrow
It’s coz of you I think that way
Thank you for showing me that is all I can say
I love you with all my heart
No matter how far we are apart
