This is the first time im trying to write in years. Constructive critism would be nice and appreciated.

I messed up years ago
Shouldnt have let it happen
Since then I let go
Withdrawn in fear

How I long to go back
Perhaps a few short years
An eternity in hindsight
To prevent that deed

Or perhaps further back
When I lost you
Wrapping my how i felt
How I still feel

I want to change
Remake the world I've built
But the past is set in stone
And ever it shall be
