Welcome to Pandora, kiddos! Empty Welcome to Pandora, kiddos!

"So, you want to hear another story, eh? One where the very fate of Pandora hangs in the balance?

If not, too bad, I'm telling you anyway.

First, there was the Vault. An alien prison opened with a mystical key. To the warriors who opened it, the Vault was just a container of tentacles and disappointment. They vanished into the wastelands, certain that the Vault held no treasure at all.

They were wrong. The Vault's opening triggered the growth of Eridium, a priceless alien element. Soon, the rare and valuable mineral emerged all across Pandora. Its appearance attracted many, including the Hyperion corporation. They came to Pandora to mine Eridium, and bring order to the savage planet. Through their excavations, Hyperion uncovered evidence of an even greater Vault. Their leader vowed to find it. To use its power to civilize the Borderlands, once and for all.

But Hyperion weren't the only ones searching for the next Vault's alien power. The call of danger and loot is not so easily resisted. Certain warriors came to Pandora in droves to uncover its hidden secrets. Some would call them adventurers. Others call them fools. But I call them... Vault Hunters.

Our story begins with them, and with a man called Handsome Jack.
    "

    ---------------------------------------------------

"Greetings, Vault Hunters! You have been hired by the illustrious leader of Hyperion, the man named Handsome Jack, to aid him in finding the Vault! Please make your way to the train to Opportunity so he may fill you in on the details."

    ---------------------------------------------------

And this is where the adventure begins, Vault Hunters. Unfortunately, this is a fixed size roleplay. Up to six people, including myself, against the bandit hordes, inbred cannibals, dangerous wildlife, various corporations, alien warriors, and various other glorious beasts, monsters, people, and robots. This is also a fixed-role roleplay. Six classes to choose from, only one of each class allowed. Make your choice and remember the two rules of Pandora. It's no place for a hero, and there's no rest for the wicked.

    ---------------------------------------------------

    CLASSES:

Commando: A master of the battlefield, the Commando employs the use of a Sabre Turret manufactured by the Dahl corporation. This automated turret features a 360 degree rotation and, at the start of the roleplay until a specified point in time, can be deployed on walls and ceilings. This character prefers Rocket Launchers and Assault Rifles. The Commando starts play with a tomahawk, a Dahl "Scout Defender" Assault Rifle and a Maliwan "Paraquat Prowler" Rocket Launcher. (Played by: )

Siren: Always female, there are only ever 6 Sirens in the universe at any given time. For whatever reason, they are inexplicably drawn to Pandora. All Sirens have some form of incredible power, in your case, Phaselocking. Phaselocking allows you to remove a single enemy from combat by "locking" them in a small dimensional globe for about 5 seconds. All Sirens have tattoos all along one side of their body from birth. This character prefers SMGs and Repeater Pistols, but will use anything as long as it deals Elemental damage. The Siren starts play with a Maliwan " SubMalevolent Grace" SMG and a Maliwan "Inflammatory Aegis" Repeater Pistol. (Played By: )

Gunzerker: The Gunzerker is a highly roided-up native to Pandora. He specializes in his favored mode of fighting, which he calls Gunzerking, or dual wielding any two guns he can find. A bit on the shorter side due to his heavy use of steroids, he shows no love for Hyperion due to them destroying his village. This class has no real weapon preference so long as the weapon either deals a lot of damage or fires a lot of projectiles in a short amount of time. The Gunzerker starts play with a Vladof "Resolute Spinigun" Assault Rifle and a Dahl "Onslaught Carbine" Assault Rifle. (Played by: )

Assassin: The Assassin is a mystery. Speaking primarily in haiku, no one is even sure if the Assassin is human, robot, alien, male, female, both, or neither. All that is known is that the Assassin is constantly looking for a better challenge. His skillset involves an ability called "Decepti0n", where the Assassin, commonly known as Zer0 due to a hologram that appears over the faceplate of their helmet that depicts the number zero whenever Zer0 kills someone/thing, deploys a holographic decoy and cloaks themself in an invisibility field. This allows the Assassin to study his/her/its opponents for a short while as they are distracted. However, it only lasts around 3-5 seconds. This character's preferred weapons are sniper rifles, revolvers, and their trusty katana. The Assassin starts play with their katana, a Jakobs "Ornery Iron" Revolver, and a Hyperion "Inspiring Policy" Sniper Rifle. (Played by: )

Mechromancer: The youngest of the pack, the Mechromancer is your average punk anarchist who hates the system for corruption and the fact that her old classmate, Marcy, bought off the judges at the science fair, getting the Mechromancer third place for her project, D374-TP, which she lovingly calls "Deathtrap." One night, on her home on Eden-5, she accidentally cut her arm while working on Deathtrap. Rather than fix the wound with an Anshin Insta-Health, she cut her arm off with a particle saw and built a new arm from scratch strong enough to smash concrete and capable of Digistructing Deathtrap. The Mechromancer was forced to leave her planet when Deathtrap killed her classmate, Marcy, upon Marcy pushing the Mechromancer down. This character prefers weapons that deal electric damage, especially Assault Rifles and Shotguns, although she does not do well with Sniper Rifles. The Mechromancer starts play with a Tediore "Blue Light Home Security" Shotgun, a Torgue "Sputtering Spitter" Assault Rifle, and a claw hammer. (Played by: )

Psycho: Not much is known of the Psycho other than his infatuation with the Siren, the only thing both his voices can seem to agree on. The voice in his head keeps him from killing innocents under threat of taking over and ending his life. He is fond of killing, especially Hyperion personnel for the experimentation they did to him that caused him to go insane in the first place. His premier form of killing is to go on a rampage and cut down his enemies with his favored weapon, a Buzz-Axe capable of cutting through flesh, certain armor, etc. This character prefers weapons with large magazines and/or heavy payloads, such as Assault Rifles, Rocket Launchers, and Shotguns, along with grenades. The Psycho begins play with his Buzz-axe and a Bandit "Nifed Ass Beeter!" Assault Rifle. Name: Krieg (Played by: Zalgo)
