It Takes Two To Tango

You are the reason we all continue on,
You are the reason there is always a new dawn.
The reason there’s hopes and dreams,
And yet sometimes, the reason it all goes down stream.
Such a joy, such a wonder,
And yet, can be such a continuous blunder.
A constant dream, a constant battle,
It’s quite amazing, you’re never bashful.
The reason a heart does a flip,
Or the reason a mind may play a trick.
So tender, so sweet,
However, constantly being passed off as a bystreet.
Never has there been a feeling so strong,
One in which everybody can always belong.
Never just a feeling though, but always an action.
An action so extravagant, it could leave someone quite ashen.
You can be the height of a life,
And somehow, the cause of so much strife.
The rise in a step,
And the fall in a misstep.
There is none other
That can be so wonderful.
None other
That can be so frightful.
A wonder that holds so much pain,
But one that is never in vein.
You are often deceived,
Very rarely rightly received.
No matter what may happen, no matter what one might say,
At the end of the day,
It is better to have achieved your status, then never at all and continue to travel one-way.
