I. Childhood.
A. Describe the sort of area you grew up in: Since she was born, Yuri has lived with her mother and father in the Denenchofu district of Tokyo. It wasn’t until she was ten that they moved to Boston.
B. Childhood friends and enemies and why: The older Yuri got, the less friends she had. When she was small, her friends mainly consisted of imaginary ones that would help her play hijinks around the house. She was never very social, and the one friend she did have when she was in elementary school died when they were in year three of their elementary education.
C. Hobbies, sports played, etc: Yuri enjoys and is very good at Shogi. She also enjoys sitting in the park and watching the people around her. She is very big in Kendo and Karate-do as well;.All of her hobbies, her father started her in.
D. Art or Music Training: Yuri’s mother convinced her father to allow her to play a musical instrument when she moved to America. So, she now plays Bassoon in school and at home. Her mother is very proud.
E. Describe the type of homelife you had as a child: Yuri had a very stable home life. She had a schedule that she went by when she got home. Homework was always the most important thing on the list for her father. She was very protected from the problems that her mother and father sometimes faced, but she was never unaware.

E. Any other relatives: Katashi’s mother and Isabelle’s father are still living, but they don’t speak much. They usually only talk on special occasions.
F. Family Story: Yuri’s mother and father met one at a wedding. Katashi had been invited as a friend on the family’s and Isabelle had come with one of her friends. She had just been going to simply go to Japan, but they met and something changed. It wasn’t particularly love at first sight, since they met only because Isabelle accidentally threw her drink on him. Afterwards, Isabelle stayed in Japan, having fallen in love with the country. Only a year or so later the two were wed. Yuri was born eleven months later. Katashi kept the family in Japan, because his business was there. When Yuri was ten, Katashi got transferred to the American branch of the company in Boston and the family was uprooted and moved.
III. Schooling.
Yuri is in her first year of lower secondary school. In Boston, she’s a seventh grader (in Junior High School).
IV. Skills.
A. What, in your opinion, do you do the best?: Yuri thinks that she makes plans the best.
B. How do you relax?: Yuri enjoys destroying the kids in the local Kendo club.
C. What do you do that you would like to improve on?: Yuri wants to get better at using knives.
VI. Personal.
A. Best friend: None besides her Mastiff, Chiyo
B. Worst enemy: His name is Joseph Whitefield. He goofs around in school and attempts to make Yuri look like a fool.
C. Current girl/boy friend: She’s an eighth grade girl who hardly talks to anyone. That say’s enough.
D. Give a description of the type of place you live in.: Yuri’s family resides in a very large apartment in West Roxbury
E. What is your general reaction to an attractive member of the opposite sex who lets you know they are 'available'?: There are two nerdy boys in Yuri’s class that help her with work when she misses is and are genuinely nice to her. They find her very attractive and try very hard to ask her on dates. (One asked her to the fair ) she shows little interest, and just acts oblivious to their affection.
F. To what lengths would you go to achieve a goal?: Yuri is a very determined little girl. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants.
G. Describe your general personality.: She's not one for diplomacy. Yuri a little girl that has anger issues. She's not a little girl that just throws a hissy fit. Yuri gets very violent . She's twelve and she's very aware of the dangers in her surroundings. From the knives in the kitchen, to the flat iron in the bathroom. Her anger reaches out to things like this. The 'accidental' injuries to those that she's angry with. For that, she's more of an inward person, keeping mainly to herself. Yuri is very independent and plays on her own. She's the girl at school that everyone thinks is weird. She's bright and smart-very logical, but when she’s angry she's very irrational. Anything could set her off: the teasing of girls at school, the scolding by her mother, or even the boy in class attempting to make her look like a fool. She plots and makes everything seem like an accident.
H. Describe any personal tragedy: When she was in first year of elementary education, a girl pushed Yuri down a flight of stairs. Since then, she’s hated people.
VIII. Travel.
A. Do you get: seasick, airsick, motionsick - auto or animal back?: Yuri gets seasick. If she reads in a car, she gets nauseous.
B. Do you like riding animals - horses, camels, etc.?: She’s so small, she likes to ride Chiyo around the house (if that counts?)
