This is a skit I wrote for my youth group. Yes, I did use the names of myself, my brother and my sister, but I ran out of name ideas. I hope you enjoy it. It could probably be a tad funnier though.
Emma: Schizophrenia is a true mental disorder, where an individual claims to hear voices other than their own in their head. These voices can or can not communicate with the individual, and the individual believes that these voices are of a paranormal source, not their own imagination nor creativity. However, multiple personality disorder is a myth. Those who truly believe they 'suffer' from this delusion may be experiencing schizophrenia, or are seeking attention by creating one or more alternative personalities to act upon.
Jade walks in
Jade: Liar. YOU have multiple personality disorder!
Emma: No! You are my own creation, as an alternative personality, even though our written biographies are very similar. Sometimes it's fun to act a little differently from who I normally am.
Jade: How does that work? You are me.
Emma: No, you are me.
Jade: Same thing.
Emma: I based you off of myself. You are me, but manipulated slightly. You are who I want to be. Sometimes. You are who I want others to view me as.
Jade: I am my own person, in your body. I am who I am, and YOU can't manipulate MY personality. Right Roxy?
Roxy walks in
Roxy: How do you except to change someone else's personality?
Emma: I don't. I'm changing my own personality. A made up one.
Roxy: So you DO have more than one personality!
Emma: No, I'm using my imagination and creativity to create a new persona.
Roxy crosses her arms
Roxy: You didn't create us. You can't control us.
Emma: Yes I can! You are me! If I told you to stand over there and hop, you would do it! Go on then. Hop!
Roxy gets angry
Roxy: No! You can't tell me what to do!
Emma: Well fine, maybe I can't get you to do that, but you're still a figment of my imagination.
Steve walks in
Steve: And who's imagination are you a figment of?
Emma: No one's. I am me.
Jade: And I am me
Roxy: And I am me.
Steve: And I am me.
Emma: No, you are all me!
Jake walks in
Jake: I like coffee!
Everyone stops and stares at Jake
Emma: Of course you do! I like coffee too. Everyone here does because they are all me! They all share my taste buds.
Jade: I don't like coffee
Steve: I'm a tea person, myself.
Landon walks in
Landon: Me too. I can stand coffee, but I much prefer tea. 2 sugars!
Steve: Nah, man! No sugar. Just milk.
Roxy: Black coffee, no sugar. So strong, you can stand your spoon up in it!
Jade: Ewwy!! I like orange juice!
Emma: Guys?
Jake: No milk in the coffee. But sugar is a must! As much sugar as your teeth can handle!
Roxy: No way! That's too sweet for me.
Jade: Orange juice! Orange juice!
Emma: Guys, we were talking about alternative personalities?
Landon: I like a lot of sugar in my tea, but not too much or it becomes sickening.
Steve: Earl Grey. Truly delightful!
Landon: Not English breakfast?
Roxy: I can handle a nice mint or berry herbal tea.
Jade: Green tea?
Roxy: Never!
Jake: No tea! Just coffee!
Emma slowly backs away as they argue
The lights dim, everyone exits the stage except Emma. Lights come back
Emma: Schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, or pure imagination. At least life never gets boring! And Roxy sure can help with that nasty homework!
