Ok, Guys. Posting some of my poetry here. Starting from the beginning, tell me if you want more

JUDGEMENT

Bathed in brilliant light, so
completely naked, exposed before
the eyes of hundreds. being judged,
weighed,

measured.
do any of them know the real me? do any of them
even care? or do they, with their fiendish minds
seek to destroy what i have taken great care to build? my castle,

my armour, my shield. all gone, all useless,
before the judging of my peers. i ask myself
do i even care? what do they know about me,
to judge me so? do they know my thoughts, my

feelings? no.
they do not, and for that reason,
I turn, and walk off the stage,
that is the pedestal of my life. the curtains close,

the ultimate barrier between me
and my fellow men.

well, for my solitary reader, here is another one:

NIGHT SKY

We are all lost,
Every one of us.
Lost in the void, the endless sky.
Dark, but not lightless-we fear

The unknown, not the thing. We fear
The lonliness, not the place. We are drifting,
And until we choose a direction,
We always will be. The world might seem Dark,

Lonely
Dangerous.
But theres always a star-the north star, guiding us home.
The closer we get, the more we can see,

And see that we’re not alone-
People all around us,
Equally lost,
Equally scared.

It is then that we realise-
We are all people.
We are all equal.
We are all the same, deep down.

Looks are nothing, it whats inside
That counts. We realise all of this,
And wait for the others,
Who are drifting

In the night sky.



there you are I thought of it whilst staring up at the stars one night. Hope you like it, my lone reader...maybe I'm just not that good? Oh well. *shrugs*.

*jumps up and down looking for attention*

THIS LOVE

How do I describe
This love?
Absurd? Foolhardy?
Doomed?

No matter. All I know
Is that I love you, plain
And simple. I love you
More than the moon

The stars
The sun, more than
Life itself. I would do anything
For this love, anything

For you. You are my heart,
My soul
My life, although you don’t know it.
How can you? I’ve never

Told you the extent of my feelings,
The strength of my passion.
I must hide it well, then,
Better then I give myself credit for,

To hide it from you.
You know I like you
But you don’t know how much.
I wonder

Does it play on your mind,
Does it nag at your thoughts?
I wonder
What do you feel for me,

Though I have no right to ask.
Is that nagging
That thought, that I like you
The reason we’re drifting apart?

I see you, I talk to you
But it happens less and less.
It seems to me
That you’re avoiding me, so

I keep my distance. Am I reading
The signs wrong, or are you feeling awkward?
Are you feeling unsure how to act?
I find that hard to believe. You always

Seem so sure of yourself.
Seem so in control.
Is it then,
That you don’t feel the same way,

But you wish to spare my feelings?
But what you don’t understand,
Should that be the case,
Is that this drifting,

This ever-growing chasm between us
Is hurting me more than anything.
That I am falling into the darkness,
Plunging beneath the ocean

Further and further
Every moment that the gap grows.
So please
Tell me how you feel,

Reach out to me
Pull me back from the chasm
Rescue me from the ocean
Tell me that I’m not alone.

Tell me that things will get better.
Please.
I don’t care
If you don’t feel that way about me.

I don’t care
If you only want to be friends. Surely
That’s better than nothing?
So please.

Tell me how you feel,
End the torture, end
The pain. Please,
This love is hurting me.

This love is killing me.
So please,
Make it stop.
