Another Zombie Apacolypse?

First topic message reminder :

OKAY... i know what you're thinking. "Another zombie apocalypse rp. great." well I haven't been in one yet and I'm tired of waiting.

We are a group survivors scattered in one of the most heaviestly infested city across the U.S., Manhatten. We began with us seperated and making our way to the military base where there is suppose to be help, military assistence by the A.F.B. We discover that It has been overrun. While trying to fight our way out we run into each other.

We'll work from it from there on. I hope you decide to join. I don't care how many join but I would like at least three.

As for weapons... One primary weapon, secondary weapon (pistols, etc.), and a melee weapon. Don't care about the backstory but make it work

Jordan made his way through the abbandoned gas station, Ak-47 in tow. In the corner of his eye, a flash of movement. He turnes to face the source.

I paused, and Bosco bounded up, unafraid to get closer and I quickly brought him back towards me with a small snap. I pointed my pistol at the man, "Name?" I snap quickly, eyeing him up and down.

I let out a sigh a I left the infected pawn shop only to see that my has tank was on e. I cursed aloud as i took a turn to the nearest has station. Hopefully the still had gas. I looked around to see that the street was clear of the infected and that the gas station wasn't but a block or two away. I continued to drive until I came to the turn into the station where I waited until a few seconds to make sure that it was clear before parking the truck up at the pump. Thinking I would get hungry I made my way towards the store.

I was silent as I awoke. I hadn’t been able to sleep in awhile. I could barely think. I took in a deep breath as I forced myself off the bed. It was light outside and the sounds of moans were loud nearby. They would be everywhere by now. I wondered if I was the only one left. You never knew. You were never sure if you were the last one alive. I sighed, limping slightly towards the door. My leg was giving me hell, and I hated it. I couldn’t believe that I had left him like that. I sighed quietly, shaking my head as I pushed closer to the door. I needed to get out of here. I didn’t know if I was coming back. I sighed, unable to think, unable to move. I didn’t want to do anything. I just stood there a moment. My senses were shot and I was tired. What was going to happen I didn’t know? I had nowhere to go.

If it was talking, it wasn't a zombie, but it could be a looter. He couldn't tell, the speaker was well covered in the shadows.

"My name is Jordan, and you?" He said, AK-47 still at the ready.

"Angel..." I said, using my code name. I step out of the shadows, Bosco steps forward, his ears back, lips peeled back into a growl. I flicked the bangs out of my eyes, "Where you from?" I asked, my shoulders were tensed, yet I slowly put my pistol down.

Jordan slowly lowered his AK when he saw the girl. Angel hey? That was an uncommon name.

"I used to be a local, you know, before shit hit the fan"

I shrugged off my jacket, throwing it in my backpack and sighed, "From Chicago..." I said quietly, I had traveled a long way, hijacking cars, walking, "Heard about the military base and decided to make my way..."

Bosco whipped around at the sound of a paper bag sliding across the concrete and I laugh as he growls at it, batting away. I turn, kneeling, moving my hair to the side and looking through the backpack, grabbing a piece of jerky and giving it to Bosco. I take the ponytail holder from my wrist and put my hair up, exposing my tattoos of the two angel wings on my shoulders.

"It's nice to meet you, Jordan." I say with a small nod, standing up and turning around placing my hand on my hip.

Jordan allows a faint grin, though he is just happy to see anyone who isn't infected.

"Nice to meet you too Angel..." He replied.

Jordan began to look around.

"So I don't suppose theres anything of value left in this gas station"

I grabbed the door handle holding my gun at the ready in case there was an enemy that needed to be disposed of. I slowly opened the door trying my best not to make a noise, but the door made a loud creek that would most likely warn anything that was in the building. I cursed softly under my lips as I began to hear a low growling noise. Great, a dog.

"Probably not," I said with a shrug and whipped around at a sound and Bosco took a step forward, letting out a more menacing growl than before.

"Bosco... Stay." I paused, flicking the bangs out of my eyes, "Who's there." My voice is low, and steady.

Jordan flipped around to facee the noise, AK-47 at the ready.

"If your human, you have five seconds to say something before I fill you full of holes!" Jordan warned

I roll my eyes at Jordan's pathetic threat, "You are horrible at this." I mutter, holding my pistol towards the sound.

As I heard the voices I raised my gun even higher than before. zombies were slow and steady not thinking of a plan or tactic, but humans were very different from the walking dead. they thought of plans, of deception, and at a time like this people were desperate. "I'm a human... Please whoever you are please don't shoot me! I'm one-hundred percent sure that I have not been infected in any way." I walked out with my gun facing the ceiling praying to a god that had abandoned us that they wouldn't shoot

I put down my gun and shift my weight to the side, flicking the bangs out of my eyes, "Name?" I ask quietly, my eyes eyeing him up and down.

Bosco stands on point staring at him as well.

I sighed a breath of relief as I eyed the pair while i put the shotgun down towards the floor, leaving me helpless if they were to attack me. "The names Alix. Yours?" I said as I held out my hand hoping she would take it.

Bosco sat up, shifting a bit, and I placed my hand on his ear and scratched it.

Jordan slowly lowered his AK. He seemed innocent enough. The girl thought him to be rash, but sometimes you need to be rash if you want to survive. Jordan began to walk away from the group.

"Well, I must be off. If there is nothing useful in this gas station I need to look someplace else"

I stare at Jordan, a pang of... sadness? Hit me, my first encounter with someone in a long time, and I didn't want to lose that...

I shook off the emotions, emotions were overrated in such a horrible time. I nodded and took a deep breath, "It... was nice to meet you."

I hardened my attitude again and fiddled the necklace around my necklace that my little brother had given to me for my 16th birthday.

Jordan stopped, only for a moment.

"Come to think of it, you said you were headed to the millitary base?"

I paused as he turned back around, "Yes." I said quietly, my eyes narrowing, my statement seeming to fade more into a question than an answer.

I listen to the two talk until I heard them say something about the military base. "I'm going as well... I have a truck if you'd like to join me." Letting them thanking it over, secretely wishing that they would join me on the trip. My eyes darted between the pair and the dog. They were the only trace of humans I had seen since the day this all started.

A truck? it would be too loud, plus he would have to worry about gassoline. The millitary base does seem like a good idea, even if the millitary isn't operational anymore. It would be well fortified, it would have rations and weapons. Plus, as much as he'd rather ignore it, it would be nice to have human company again.

"You know what, the millitary base does seem like a good defensive point, and if were all headin' the same way I don't see why we cant watch eachothers asses along the way" Jordan said.

He turned to the man with the truck.

"I only have one rule. If you guys are gonna follow me, no truck. Its too loud, it'll attract every bastard in the city, I know that from experience. Plus we'd have to worry about gas. Leave the truck."
