It’s never easy going through Spartan Training. Especially when you are the newest group to endure it. Before Master Chief battled the invasion of the Covenant on Reach, a different form of Spartans took over the planet. We are the forgotten ones. Our Spartan race is soon to die out, but we keep fighting, keep training, keep defending Reach in case of a sudden attack. Our Spartan race is unique. We each posses up to three powers or abilities that aid us during our battles. Whether it’s telekinesis or flight, pyrokinesis or morphing, all these special powers and abilities serve us great use.

As our training draws to a close, we notice a disappearance of a few members of our group. There are no invasions, and no wars, so what is the cause of their absence? ‘Never leave a man behind’ is a famous saying spread across the stars, dating back to Earth-days, but there is very little time to organize a search party. Routine missions take up the majority of our time and concentration, and included with our training, preparing for attacks, war, or invasions are all we can concentrate on. However, during one of our routine missions,we discover something both highly shocking, and more dangerous than many obstacles we have ever faced before: Our missing Spartans. At first, we feel hope and relief. We lower our defenses and welcome the return of our fellow men... until they attack. These lost Spartans have become rouge for unexplainable reasons, and we find ourselves stranded on this distant planet, at war, battling and fighting those who were once our friends, but have since become our enemies.

I opened my eyes as the warhog slowed to a stop. We were at some kind of large facility lots of marines with guns. I began to think to myself, <If only we had this many Spartans....then maybe. Maybe. We would actually have a chance.> I sighed and steped out. I was ranked a Major in teh military standards. As I began to turn, Warrent Officer greeted me quickly, doing the normal salute taht everyone does to a higher ranking officer. I nodded to him. "At ease soldier." My voice was kind of deep noramlly, but my helmet, definately made my voice even more muffled. I'm sure I sounded alright though. If anything, kind of rough. He tells me to follow him, because one of teh other Spartans was here and wanted to meet me. I followed him, glancing around and noticing all the Scorpians, Hornets, Falcons, Mongooses, Pelicans, and Warthogs. I sighed, thinknig of all the good men I had seen die in those vehicles. We get to a room that look like the main war room, she was the only one in teh room and the marine left quickly. I smiled behind my helmet as she turned around. "You...wanted to see me?" {To Jade}

I turned around as I heard a voice. "Yes. Sit" I say, directing him towards the nearest chair. "Hawk." I introduce myself curtly, yet offering my hand in a friendly mannerism. "I am terribly sorry for your loss regarding the disappearance of the missing Spartans. They were fine men. However, I have been contacted by various sources and have received knowledge of various rumours regarding their life status' and whereabouts. I believe none of them, but one can not be so sure. It is not right to judge upon such news. I was wondering," I inhaled, trying to keep my composure, "if you had any... news?"

I detached my helmet, hoping to breathe in some normal air for once. I hadn't taken off my helmet since the battle. I rest it gently on the table just as she reaches out her hand. I shake it gently and sit as she commanded. I try to breathe calmly as I told her this, "We lost our base at Point 0114." I let out as quickly as I could, for some reason, thinking that would make the situation better. "The recon base set up close to the inital landing points of the Convenant..." I say, assuming she didn't know. She probably did. "The only survivors were a Scout carring Warthog full of marines and one Falcon. Plus myself of course. No other Spartans that were stationed there. Kyle. Brooke. Seth." My voiced craked slightly, but I regained my composure quickly. "I don't know about Seth. He was captured. I watched the other two die. With my own eyes."

I lowered my head. "And the attacks from covenant banshees... is that true?" Kyle, Brooke, and Seth. They were good people. I put my hand on my helmet and sighed quietly, hoping it wasn't noticed.

I shook my head slowly. "They have a hell of alot more than Banshees ma'm."

I swore under my breath and turned around. Then I turned back again. "How many left in your group?" I ask, hoping we still had enough to continue.
