We are all at a masquerade ball all the girls dress in elegant ball gowns and the guys dress in dressy sutes everybody were masks and at midnight we take the masks off to reveal who we really are… EVERYONE IS NEW AND NO ONE KNOWS EACHOTHERS IDENTITY!!!

Taiga smiled up at the girl when she walked over. She returned her gaze to the flowers after Aurora kissed her forehead, her cheeks burning pink.

Mireya pulled away looking at the ground bashfully.

"I'm sorry," she said. "Th-that might have been too much, yes," she asked. "I mean, I like you very much, but I don't even know if..." she trailed off feeling more ill at-ease than she ever had perhaps in her entire life.

"No no, that was nice." she said, smiling down at the two flowers. "Yeah, that was nice."

She smiled, shyly.

"Good," she chuckled still so uncomfortably. She took Angel's hand, although hers still trembled lightly and slowly planted an ever timid kiss on her cheek just under the mask.

Taiga looked back blushing, swinging her hand back and forth in aurora's. She was giggling and smiling when the girl kissed her cheek. She wasnt sure If it was the alcohol, but she felt great.

Mireya smiled and squeezed Angel's hand lightly.

"I really like you, Angel," she chuckled tentatively.

Taiga squeezed aurora's hand back, smiling as well. "I really like you too!". She waited a moment, staring at her hands before leaning up and kissing her gently.

"To meeting someone unique and unlike anyone else around here" I say smiling raising my glass and lightly clicking it with crow's glass. Before taking a sip and continuing to eat my food. Sneaking glances at crow.

Mireya felt her face run hot as Angel kissed her. She kissed back and all too soon, she felt, it was done. She smiled absently and held Angel close. It was strange to feel such closeness with someone she knew so little about, but it felt good.

Taigas face burned red as she curled close to aurora. She felt sad that it was done, but safe. She felt safe with the girl so close.

"I want to stay like this forever," she murmured softly into the other's ear.

"That would be so very nice." she murmured, leaning back against the other girl.

I took a sip of the champagne, and set my glass down. I noticed that Juliet kept looking at me as she ate, and I started to feel a bit excited. I felt myself yearning for midnight to come. I wanted to know who this incredible woman I had met was.

I ate my food much faster than before, and sat waiting patiently for her to finish. When she did, I was going to ask her to dance again.

I smile taking the last bite of my food and softly placing my fork on the plate. "You slightly faster then before. I guess I didnt distract you as much as I did before" I say smiling taking a sip of my champane, leaning back in my chair.

"Nah, I just didn't want to keep you waiting."

I stood up, and held my hand out to her. "Would you care for another dance?"

"I would love too" I say smiling placing my champane glass on the table and place my hand in crows hand. As I slowly stand up, trying not to step on my dress.

The moment her hand touched mine, it felt as if all my hair was standing on end. I raised her hand to my lips, and kissed it. I guided her through the tables, and back to the dance floor. Once the next song started, I pulled her close, putting both my hands on her waist. This song was much slower than the one from our first dance.

The moment the kiss ended, the moment his lips pulled away, she wanted more. But she resisted, just looking deep into his eyes with the brightest smile she could summon. Her heartbeat was pumping in her ears as her hands toyed with his hair again.
"My, my....you know how to kiss a girl," she blinked slowly, trying to clear her head.

"Trust me...it's the ambient...the masquerade magic noneless..." He whispered.

I smile to myself as I feel crows lips kiss my hand, and he led me onto the dance floor. "This is nice" I whisper smiling as I gather part of my dress skirt in my hand, placing my other arm around his neck as we started to dance again.

As we danced, I silently cursed my choice of mask. Because of the beak, I wouldn't be able to attempt to kiss Juliet until midnight, and for me, that couldn't come soon enough.

"Yes, it's very nice." I whisper in her ear.

I smile holding my skirt out so that I wouldnt be afraid to step on it as we continue to dance. "You don't come to these kinds of things often do you?" I ask smiling as I move closer to crow and rest my head on his shoulder

"Hmm," she said, "could have fooled me." She smiled up at him again as they danced.

"Not too often, but this isn't my first dance."

We kept dancing, and I lost count of how many songs played. We even danced through the moments of silence between each song, as if nothing else at the party mattered. I knew from that moment, that I would never forget this night.

"I can tell your very light on your feet. I had to ask your not like many men that I have seen at these balls. I would remeber if I have" I say smiling.

We continue to dance that seemed to be peaceful and serene eterinity. I look around and realize that it was close to midnight. "Would you like to go for a walk with me in the gardens?" I ask smiling as I stop dancing to look up at crow.
