Trick or Treat or be the Mistress Treat

NOTE: Join at any time, I'll fill you in and give you a starting place if RP far ahead.

Story line: There's a house, a beautiful big Victorian style house. The Hathornes family have tried to live in it for decades but eventually always placed for rent. Rumors of it being haunted, cursed, bizarre... Ghosts, spirits, weird vibes... People claimed there's a woman who haunts. She hauls and weeps. She throws tantrums and scares. She sings lullaby's to babies, and kids before they hit puberty. (her preferance for some reason were boys) They call her the mistress for they don't know her name. Due to her dress style, all the could conclude what decade she was from. Her death cause...unknown...her body burried....unknow. But she wants you to know. Unfortunately she's a tad bit crazy, and filled with mood swings.
Mrs. Hathorne is the some number generation from her family line. She's sixty-four and has managed to deal with the mistress and her tantrums.
Besides the mistress, servants haunted as well. Those who died with the big secret.


Setting: In a town where the Victorian Age style is very much appreciated. Filled with tons of oak and maple trees with leaves ranging form brown to red to orange and yellow.
October 31st isn't it fun to dress up and go trick or treating?

Plot: Group of kids and teens, ages 10-20 out on trick or treating and as they go along some bump into each other. As friends they talk and hang. They decide to go to Ms. Hathorne's house and place a dare... Go into house. Little did they know that this mischievous scheme would bring them a more curious and daring task. Will you chicken out, or do the dare? Help solve the Mistress mystery.

Personality: She is very sweet and social in any normal situation. In the event that something bad would happen, or she be put in an awkward position, she is perfectly capable of fighting back and defending herself. She is in no way defenseless.

But it's not just Zorro. It's Errol Flynn as Zorro. Errol Flynn's Zorro bears more resemblance to The Dread Pirate Roberts than to, say, Antonio Banderas's Zorro.

Ms. Hathorne was in her early 60's. A very strong beautiful graceful woman. Her hair was a light brown and with a hint of red streaks in her hair. She was tall and her bone structure tough yet thin. She lived in the same house all her life along with the Mistress. Their relationship was weird. She had no clue who the Mistress was. She had been married twice, widowed once and divorced once. She always kept her name. It was her legacy. Jim was her first husband, believed he was the love of her life. Made two endearing wonderful sons. Tristan and Devon. They both couldn'd be even more opposite than what they were. They grew up to be fine young men. Tristan all serene, and Devon the wild child. When they were ten, and eight Jim died. It was after a business trip. On the way back. A truck ended his life. Five years later she marries Patrick. A scumbag who wanted her money and caught him cheating on her. She would not tolerate his crap and divorced him after three months.
She sat on her rocking chair knitting. It was halloween and she didn't expect anyone. Kids were afraid of her house.

It was Halloween. The time when all of the children came around. I wasn't quite sure how to respond to this holiday. It was when he only people I can tolerate cam around, the younger ones. Like her own sons, Devon and Tristan. I had had a soft spot for those boys. I would sit in the little chair in their nursery, singing them lullabies in their sleep. They would always smile and giggle when they could hear me. Even after they were out of the nursery, they could still interact with me, a rare thing. So while Ms. Hathorne was cooking, we would get to talk, and the two little ones would chatter away in jibberish. Once they hit 14 though, they became, different, so I stopped appearing to them at all. Once they left, it was almost a relief.
I sat outside with Ms. Hathorne after a few moments, watching her. She was the energetic type, the one who always had wanted to have company over, but couldn't stand that. Those kinds of this always threw me into a frenzy, and before long she would have to leave me alone in the house to be able to see her friends.

Cecilia skipped every other step leading up to Adam's porch and, checking to make sure his parents weren't home, pounded on the door with alternating fists and howled loudly.

"Come on, hurry up!" she called through the door. "Nightfall's in half an hour! I don't wanna waste a single minute of it!"

Though she'd always been more of a Christmas person, Cissy did love Halloween. She loved being scared and was always looking for bigger, better thrills. The adrenaline rush had always been the goal for her.

"okok...owowowow ok geez im an aussie not a door, i dunno why you guy make such a big deal outta today" i say rubbing my head from being belted with alternating fists a few time

Cissy stopped as soon as she realized the door had been opened.
"Sorry," she said sheepishly. "And I make less of a deal of it than some. Some people just go all out. And it's not a big deal, it's just fun." She shrugged and smiled, gripping Adam's arm and tugging him down the steps. "Dress up like you're not yourself for a whole night, and why? Free candy! True, we're probably getting a bit old for it...but that's what Halloween parties are for."
