As i walked the street of the current city i decided to stop in the smell of blood ran thick through the back alleys and side street, and this wasn't the smell of a city with a crime problem but instead a vampire war i decided against my better judgement to stay in town for a while longer and get a look at this war first hand but not get involved

The sun had just set, leaving only a tint of crimson in the sky. The rest of the sky was dominated by a mass of dark blue, darkness taking over the city. Which, by the way, was perfect for me. Believe it or not, I could see just as well in the dark as I could see in the light, if not better. Plus, even with my protective relic, my ring which protected me from the damages of the sun, my powers were still limited and I easily got sun-burnt. I decided to stop by a random drug store and buy some sunblock. The female cashier stared at me as if I was some kind of a model. Evil beauty both frightened and captivated humans, I guess. Shrugging, I stepped outside and drank out of a flask. When I was done, I sealed the bottle with the lid, and there was a slight tint of red around my lips.

Alice and I walk out from the movies, giggling. "And the part where that guy got run over by the mad man?" she shrieks, laughing. I took Alice to see a horror film, but she loved it, as if it were a comedy. "Yea, very unrealistic," I smirk, looking down at her. Alice well..... I guess you can consider her to be my special someone.... at least that's what she thinks of me. Can't say I feel the same. She's just another girl right? She was young, attractive, out going, perfect. I grab her hand and pull her along down the street. "The sun's going down," she pointed out, smirking. "Yea," I agreed as I pulled her towards the park. "Where are we going?" she giggled. "To the park.... for a night like no other. I don't know about you, but I'll enjoy it," I grin, as we walk into the park and to a tree, which was on the outer side of a small park forest. I push her up against the trunk of the tree. "Did you have fun today?" I ask, leaning towards her. My hands on both sides on her head. She nods, bitting her lower lip. She looks into my eyes, then down along my face, stopping at my collar bone. "I love the necklace you where. I can't get over it! Where'd you say you got it?" she asks. "Family heirloom," I quickly respond.

The necklace was on a silver chain. The design was very intricate. Mesmerizing almost.

She smiles and I lean in to kiss her. We share the kiss for a few minutes before she pulls away. "What is it?" I ask, curious. "Something..... isn't right,"

"What is it?" I ask, acting confused. "You seem different, not yourself.... are you okay?" she ask genuinely concerned. "Never been better," I smile, showing my fangs. Alice stops, glaring at the fangs. "Is this some kind of a joke?"

"No joke," I say nonchalantly before I quickly bite down on her neck. She screams, but only for a second or two, before I silence her. I drag her into the forest and drain her body. "Good night Alice. I told you it was going to be a night like no other," I smile before I wipe my mouth and walk away.
