The Inquisitor growls as he is blasted back by the Weathermancer...though the strike was far more powerful than the last time he was struck by lightning, it is still not strong enough to do any lasting damage; there is a slightly charred area in the middle of his chest, but that is it. No more damage is immediately visible, and he was only forced back a few steps...if he could just crush this girls skull and be done with it, he would have finished this fight ages ago. But he is forced to play with her as a cat plays with a mouse, and she is managing to hold on...though barely. Now that her friend, the Aquamancer, is unconscious and bleeding on the floor, she will not be able to continue to fight much longer.
He takes a few steps towards her and stoops down, grabbing her by the hair and yanking her upright painfully. Releasing her hair, he regrips her head and lifts her off the floor so she is left kicking at nothing...how easy would it be to just squeeze?
The Inquisitor lurches forwards suddenly, releasing his hold on the Weathermancers head. A slight throbbing sensation radiates from his chest, and he looks down to find a jagged, barbed pole sprouting from his chest. So. They've finally shown up...he was wondering how long they would make him play with these whelps.
Just as he's thinking that, the pole lurches backwards and the barbs catch on his chest, and after a brief moment of resistance, he is wrenched backwards at break-neck speed, towards his unseen assailants.
Behind him, Grace is Ironpulling as hard as she can on the pole in the Inquisitors upper body, having taken up a strategic position behind her brother, Dante. The force of the Ironpull has her pressed flat against his back as the superior weight of the Inquisitor should be pulling her towards it, rather than the other way around. However, since she's pushed up against Dante, she isn't going anywhere; Dante has tapped into his Ironmind to draw out just enough weight for him to act as an anchor for her, and with her burning Pewter to make sure she isn't crushed by the resulting forces, his enhanced weight is bringing the creature towards them.
She releases her Ironpull just as the creature gets within range, its momentum carrying it ever closer. Grace staggers back, released from the huge force that was pressing her closer to Dante, just in time to see the show; Dante taps into his Pewtermind and, as she watches, his muscles bulge visibly, he grows taller and broader, and soon he is ten, twenty times bigger than his normal self, and about thirty times stronger. He's a hulking behemoth, and as the Inquisitor draws closer, he pulls back his fist -
- and delivers a crunching blow to The Inquisitors head, sending it cartwheeling across the floor to land in a heap at the base of a now-overflowing fountain. The rain and the fountain water has drenched it through, and after a moments hesitation, it pulls itself to its feet, flaring Pewter to aid in the effort.
He growls furiously. "You..." it snarls as Dante returns to his normal size, and Grace steps up beside him. Dante inclines his head.
"Yes. Us. Leave now, while you have the chance, Abomination."
"I will," the Inquisitor spits vehemently, "Once I have your heads!"
And it charges. It takes a step forwards, then flares Pewter, and is suddenly dashing across the small distance as fast as he can, almost faster than the eye can see. Grace ducks to the side and Dante taps into his Steelmind, increasing his speed massively to move out of the way, disappearing in a spray of dirt and water. This sudden move avoids The Inquisitors knee, but Grace isn't so fast; his backhand catches her across the back of the head, and she spins with the force of the impact, only narrowly avoiding The Inquisitors follow up punch. She ducks beneath his outstretched arm, Pewter giving her the ability to recover quickly, and flares it, twisting and throwing the Inquisitor over her shoulder. The Inquisitor, however, lands lithely on his feet, twists and throws Grace around his own body and smashing into the floor. She cries out in surprise and not a little amount of pain, but The Inquisitor doesn't pay attention; his enhanced senses have heard something.
He turns around just in time to deflect the now re-gargantuan Dante's huge fist - Dante is now easily four or five times bigger than The Inquisitor, but they are equally matched for strength - sending his own fist cannoning into Dante's stomach. Dante grunts, staggering backwards, but recovers in time to catch The Inquisitors fist that was aimed at his head. His entire body reverberates at the contact, but he is able to keep his footing as his own fist collides with The Inquisitors side, driving the breath from him in a gasp. Dante draws back again and delivers an uppercut that on anybody else would have been enough to shatter the skull, which sends the Inquisitor careening -
- straight into Grace. She uses her own Pewter burning to drive a fist into The Inquisitors stomach, forcing him to double over, where she catches him on her shoulders, holding him up with her pewter-enhanced muscles. Steelpushing on a source of metal deep beneath the ground, she rockets into the air with the newly stunned Inquisitor, before releasing him and Steelpushing herself away and then Ironpulling herself back to the ground. The Inquisitor regains his bearings and, Ironpulling and Steelpushing on numerous sources of metal dotted around, rights himself as he flies through the air, trying to find Dante and Grace.
His senses pick up something behind him and he turns...to see a gigantic and now extremely light - thanks to the Ironmind - leaping through the air up towards him, closer, closer, closer...
And past. He shoots past the Inquisitor, and for a moment, he thinks he's missed...and then Dante takes all the weight he can manage from the Ironmind, and drops like a ten ton weight - which he does, in fact, now weigh - directly on top of The Inquisitor, catching him in the back. The Inquisitor attempts to Steelpush on the sewage pipe, but Dante weighs too much; the ground cracks as the sewage pipe is forced further beneath the ground -
A massive cloud of dust, rock and rubble explodes upon impact, a mushroom cloud of debris forming briefly before being dissipated by the rain. A few moments later, Dante bounds out of it, shrinks mid-flight and comes to an elegant rest beside Grace, who is still burning Pewter, if only to avoid shivering. Dante himself is drawing from his Brassmind, a piercing in his naval, to keep himself warm. They eye the cloud for a moment, before hurrying to the side of Daniel and the Weathermancer.
Grace instantly goes for Danny, kneeling beside him and lifting him up into her arms tenderly, easily lifting him due to her Pewterburning. She shakes her head.
"What did he do to you...?" she murmurs. What she means is 'He wasn't supposed to knock you out,' but if anybody else heard it, it would sound like genuine concern, especially given that her Coppercloud is still active. Dante, meanwhile, makes a beeline for the Weathermancer. He shoots a slightly suspicious look at Grace, but allows it to slide, before leaning down to check on the Weathermancer. She's still breathing; good....and she appears to be conscious.
"If you're well enough," he shouts over the rain, "Would you mind stopping this? It's hindering rather than helping right now!"
